I rediscovered my love for photography a few years ago once it entered the digital era. In picking up a camera again and venturing out into the world, I was reminded how much photography can help train our eyes to see the many details of life that we often taken for granted.

Despite the dizzying array of technology advancements, photography has changed very little. Imagination, a good eye for detail and composition, and creativity still matter much more than having the latest technological advances (although they certainly can help quite a bit! ;).

A special word of thanks also goes to my family - Tanya, Peter, and Bobby - who support my photography efforts and often serve as unpaid "models" for my many photography experiments! :)

If you like any of the photos, feel free to sign the Guestbook and leave a comment. Please check back often as I will continue to post photos on a regular basis.

Best Regards,
Bob

Hey Bob!

I followed you here from Nasim's A77 review. You have an amazing portfolio here! There's no way I can convince you to switch to Sony hehehe :)
I'll try to find time to browse all your photos and find some inspiration from your works. I hope I'll be able to be as good as you in terms of photography. ( A massive wish I suppose!)
Cheers Mate and Be well...

Bobby

Your images display a great deal of sensitivity toward the subjects you photographs. And from my experience some of them may be relevant to magazine market as well. Have you ever thought about that? Fortunately, you do not invest thousands, the first photo I sold was taken by a 4Mp Nikon Coolpix. What you really need is to find an appropriate magazine. There are quite a few really good books and websites out there if you go looking. My suggestion is to check one of them – http://www.freelance-market.net – and try a couple magazines until you find out what does the job right for you. And certainly don't be despondent when your images are rejected or not used. After all it’s fun.

See you soon. L. Mom
